Expect Intimacy
Your wedding day is the beginning of a new life with the one person who will have the privilege to live life intimately with you. Expectations are high, but your stress level shouldn't be. And that's why we've invested in an absolutely gorgeous, functional, and relaxing bridal loft that's designed to give you the privacy and the comfort you and your bridesmaids deserve. The loft features a private bathroom complete with an oversized vanity - perfectly sized for you, your bridesmaids, your hairdresser, your make-up artist, and your photographer. The loft also features a dressing room for your bridesmaids, a quaint and photogenic sitting area, and a large dressing area for the bride. That's right. Half the loft is dedicated to the bride. You'll love the intricate hand-painted details, the chaise lounger, the photogenic wedding dress hook & frame, and the full-body mirror corner. A truly inviting bridal loft with everything you need. Expect A Good Time
The Groom's Lounge is yet another "Wow!" factor hidden within The Exchange at Lake of the Ozarks. Your groom and his men will have no problem making this space their own. It features a large flat-screen TV with a robust cable package, a pool table, oversized lounge-style leather seating, and a private bathroom for their pre-ceremony preparations. The décor is also uniquely refined with hand-selected hunting trophies and vintage sportswear. The crown jewel of which is a full-sized wolfskin resting on the sofa. You can look. You can touch. Expect Natural Beauty
Our private courtyard features a well-manicured lawn with flowing shrubs and beautiful evergreens enclosed by an 8ft privacy fence. If you've been dreaming of an outdoor wedding ceremony, but have been worried about the logistics of providing a clean, private space with standard amenities for your guests, then consider the conveniences offered by a private courtyard at The Exchange in the heart of the Lake of the Ozarks. Our courtyard comfortably seats up to 200 guests for your ceremony and is directly connected to the main hall for immediate access to the reception. Couples continue to find amazing new ways to leverage this intimate and versatile space for their wedding day. Some use it for a cocktail hour between the ceremony and the reception. Some use it for the ceremony and make their grand entrances directly from the bridal loft and groom's lounge. Our dedicated prep kitchen offers up a discreet and convenient space for your caterer and bartender team so that they can put their best foot forward in front of your guests. The kitchen features a commercial prep table for food and beverage preparations, a commercial refrigerator that can stock an entire bar for the evening, a commercial ice machine (so don't stress over bringing your own ice bags), a deep-freezer (in case ice cream is on the menu), and a commercial sink to help your caterer and bartender keep serving ware and barware looking its best throughout the night. Expect Comfort
Every rental includes access to our round tables and Gold Chiavari chairs with white seat cushions. The round tables can comfortably seat up to 8 guests. They're built for function and can be visually stunning when paired with a 120" round linen. And new for 2024, now EVERY rental INCLUDES linens from The Exchange (click here for details)! Our options include smooth black, smooth white, and cream crinkle taffeta (our personal favorite!). If you're looking for something to help take your wedding reception to the next level, we also offer large custom-made wood tables that feature a rich, dark wood that's been hand-scraped and sanded to a smooth finish. These tables comfortably seat up to 8 guests and are absolutely perfect for family-style seating arrangements. They have also been a very popular choice for couples looking to make a statement with the head table. And lastly, we also have four 8ft rectangular tables that provide a solid space for your caterer or any other needs you might have (gift tables, dessert tables, etc.). Your wedding day can be a blur if you allow it to be. At The Exchange, we value your time. And as such, we gladly ensure every wedding is fully staffed throughout the day to help make sure everything is in tip-top shape from start to finish. Our team is professional, helpful, cordial, polite, cheerful, and eager to make things right so you don't have to. Your uncle shouldn't be taking out the trash. Your mom shouldn't be restocking toilet paper. Your best friend from high school shouldn't be mopping the floor. Don't put undue pressure on friends and family by relying on their help. Expect Service
When the night is over, you might feel pressure to leave the place better than when you found it. Rest assured that you can ignore your conscience on this one. First of all, new for 2024, EVERY wedding now has FULL ACCESS ALL WEEKEND! When you book a 2024 wedding with The Exchange, you will have access to the wedding venue from 12pm noon on Friday until 12pm noon on Sunday to ensure a truly stress-free weekend with plenty of time for preparations and clean up. And when you’re all done on Sunday, we will gladly clean the venue afterward. Our team will take care of trash, floors, bathrooms, windows, mirrors, and general tidiness.
